ReLife Recovery's leg compression therapy uses dynamic air compression in dedicated recliners, so you can sit back, relax, and let your legs recover while you do.

What to Expect

Settle into a dedicated massage recliner and slide into a pair of Normatec boots that fit right over your legs. Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing such as leggings, joggers, shorts, or athletic wear, you'll remove your shoes, and the boots fit over what you're wearing. For the best experience, avoid bulky clothing and make sure your legs are dry. The boots inflate and release in sequence, moving from your feet up through your legs. Staff will get you set up and adjust the pressure to your comfort level before your session starts.

How It Works

Dynamic air compression inflates and releases in a wave-like pattern, moving up your legs to help stimulate circulation. The system can also isolate a specific area, like your calves or feet, if you want extra focus on one spot. It's a passive way to recover, you simply sit back while the boots do the work.

How Long Is a Session?

Sessions run 15 to 30 minutes, depending on what your schedule allows. Just 15 minutes gives you a full compression session from your feet up through your legs. Staff will let you know when your session is complete.

A Note on Safety: Consult your healthcare provider before using Normatec if you are pregnant, under medical care, recovering from surgery or injury, or have a health condition that may affect circulation. Normatec should not be used without medical clearance if you have conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, acute congestive heart failure, acute infection, thrombophlebitis, pulmonary edema, unexplained pain or bleeding, wounds or lesions, or a fracture or dislocation near the treatment area.

FAQ

Leg Compression Questions, Answered

What does leg compression therapy feel like?

The Normatec boots create a firm, rhythmic squeezing sensation that moves up your legs, similar to a deep-pressure massage. The pressure is adjustable and should feel comfortable and relaxing, never painful.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing such as leggings, joggers, shorts, or lightweight athletic wear. The boots are worn over your clothing, so avoid bulky fabrics, empty your pockets, and make sure the material isn't bunched underneath the boots.
